Synopsis

[View Full Script]
This is a skit in two parts. Each starts out with Evelyn and Frank driving along the highway on their way to Disneyland while Evelyn reads the map. Apparently there is a fork in the road coming up, one branch of which is narrow and unpleasant looking, and the other of which is a broad, 4-lane highway. Moreover, the broad road appears to lead right past The Doughnut Museum, which inspires Homer-Simpson-like drooling. Of course, the narrow road leads directly to Anaheim.
On the first run-through, Frank and Evelyn quite reasonably decide that, as much as they life doughnuts, it would be far more sensible to follow the map and go straight on through to Disneyland. Of course, they arrive at that "Happiest Place on Earth" a few hours later, and are ecstatic.
On the second run through, Frank and Evelyn rationalize that roads simply don't end for no reason in the middle of nowhere, and moreover, they both absolutely adore doughnuts. They take the broad, easy road. Needless to say, a few hours later they discover that the road does indeed end abruptly, and they fall off screaming.
