Chris has The Cure to the horrible headache with which every one he's ever known is afflicted, but he's afraid to give it away. His older friend Bob convinces him that it's time to stop reading the manual and start giving, and promises to meet him later. Dutifully, Chris tries to give it to a neighbor, who is uncertain she's willing to try, but at least takes a bottle in case she changes her mind. Then Chris runs into an old high school friend, who is not only unwilling to take the pill, but berates Chris for turning to "the drug." The friend warns the next lady not to talk to Chris because he's crazy. Rather than being dissuaded, the lady convinces Chris to tell her why his friend warned her. With some coaxing, the discouraged Chris tells her about the Cure, which she insists on trying for herself. Of course it works immediately, and she runs off the stage jumping and screaming. The final character is a new-age hippie who doesn't think anyone who hasn't tried Yoga has any right to talk to her about a miracle drug. When Bob returns, Chris sees his day as a failure - but Bob points out that even though only one of his prospects took the medicine, he planted the seed in the others, which is all he needs to do.
